When We Meet
Our get togethers are a great way to meet interesting women who are not willing to accept the status quo and are moving in a direction that is in alignment with core values and being responsible, healthy citizens and consumers. We enjoy getting connected, making new friends, sharing ideas and information, and finding new and interesting ways to inspire others in our communities.
If you are passionate about the environment, drawn to or curious about being more green, consider yourself invited. If you would like to meet other women who are on that path, please join us.
We used to meet for breakfast on a designated Saturday of each month.
Recently we decided to be more flexible, allowing the natural flow of inspiration, community activities and events to shape our schedule. Our meetings are no longer monthly but rather at various times and days of the week. For example, we recently launched a book club, and each book club meeting will be determined by the person hosting the event.
Since we have adopted a street, we will have a street cleanup event four times a year - in January, April, July, and October. More info at our Scheduled Activities page.

Q: How do I become a GreenGirl?
A: Simply come to one of our events.
Q: Can men and boys come too?
A: It depends on the activity. Our annual holiday brunch party is for women only (girls of all ages). Other GreenGirl events may include men (boys of all ages) as long as they are accompanied by a GreenGirl. For example, there are some events such as street cleanups and tree plantings, where we encourage green-minded guys to join us!
Q: What kinds of speakers have you had at past meetings? (Although we no longer have monthly meetings, below is a list of people who we have had the pleasure of hearing.)
